Creed Street Love and Sunshine.

"Sun is shining, the weather is sweet
Make you want to move your dancing feet
To the rescue, here i am
Want you to know, y'all, where i stand"
~ Bob Marley

And how completely right the late great Bob Marley was.... but KNS fans, where do we stand I hear you all cry? Yes last week was the vote to stay at  Creed Street Theatre and arts centre, so WHO WANTS TO STAY?

Despite the lovely Eleanor and Sandra being a little to slow for the posed photo I can assure you the vote was unanimous, and stay we will. We are feeling allot of Creedy love in that place and finding it all very inspiring. Theres a great future for this community venture at Creed Street, and we want to thank all our members for their patience, support, cake supply,  and shoulders to cry on during the process of new venue finding and the move.

Well the suns out and the weather has indeed been very sweet. Whats been on the KNS needles this awesome mayday bank holiday.... well....

CHRISTMAS OF COURSE!! It was great to see Pat back safe and well this week from her op with her crochet Christmas tree bunting. Sandra is busying herself with one of her fab felt Christmas stockings. These things look amazing when finished and do take a bit to finish, so nobody can blame them for being prepared....pass the suncream.....

KNS has been like the outbreak monkey spreading the crochet bug, its bringing in some fabulous results, and I do believe we will all need a room in some posh celebrity rehab clinic soon.....

Not to mention Sarah's epic bed runner which will be a five foot master piece, now theres dedication. Pimms and Ice cream.... not sure how they snuck into the room on such a sunny bank Holiday...
Some quilting arrived this week and I'm just loving the colours and pretty fabric used in this red and blue creation. Its going to be quite striking.

Just left to mention whats turned up all finished for showing off. Sandra's cross stitch sugar skull has now been lovingly hand stitched into a big cushion and a fine job was done of it to. We think its a stunning piece as is all of Sandra's superb work.
We are also loving junior stitcher Kathrine's "show me show me stuffy". This has been lovingly created for her 3 year old niece, and is all of Kathrine's own design. Well done Kath!!
Whats left to say then? Cake, of course there was isn't there always? Kerry with this delicious cheese cake awesomeness we DEMAND you come again!

So KNS fans. Don your summer gear, and come visit us with your project. Its what life was made made for.

Big Love
Sue x
