Hellooooo!! KNS fans. tis Friday evening, and theres alot to be blogging. But this is good because it just means our gorgeous group is a thriving and ever evolving animal going from strength to strength. Its weird to think that this time last year we had only just gone weekly, we have done so much since then.
This year is already shaping up to be even more exciting than last...so....where to start...well...
Okie dokie then, as mentioned below 25th Feb is our very own UFO night. We all have one, those projects that seem a good idea, then you get into it, and you relegate it to the cupboard unfinished until it stops hurting your brain, then you get it out again, then it hurts your brain, then you put it back again, and so on and so forth until months... years later your still have said unfinished item and you cant even remember why you started it in the first place AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Yeah so anyway bring it along, do some work on it with us, then when it continues to hurt your head again we are there to provide various shoulders to cry on and cake to comfort you. Prize for the oldest or most interesting UFO to turn up on the night.
Then... Monday the 11th of March come grab yourself a bit of Crochet Relief! (see what we did there..). Yes, for the wonderful charity that is comic relief we will be crocheting red noses together with the help of some experienced in the art of crochet, and having a big old cake sale. We will sell red nose kits up to and on the night, and of course all proceeds from kits, entry fee on the night, and cake sale will go direct to comic relief. You may confirm your attendance here.. Crochet Relief , and we really do hope to have a great turn out for this most excellent of causes.
Now, a touch further down the line... MK Gallery is seeking cultural and creative people with any connection to Milton Keynes, to apply for inclusion in MK Gallery’s summer 2013 exhibition and season of events, MK Calling (28 June – 8 September 2013). SO, of course im putting together a application for KNS people. Why would I not. Exciting venture and the small matter of a 8 grand prize... So, expect me to be badgering you over the coming months, we will need to make a collective submission if we get in. More info to be found here.. Mk Calling
