Reported UFO sighting in Milton Keynes.

On Monday 25th February it was reported that residents in the New Bradwell area of Milton Keynes spotted UFO's!

Knit, Natter & Stitch members had dug through their collections of kits, patterns and fabrics and rifled through their lofts to bring their long running and as yet unfinished projects along to our Monday Session - UFO Night.

There were glimses of long not seen articles all with a story to tell.....
Eleanor showed us her makeover TV inspired applique blanket - 11 years in the loft including one housemove!

Judi brought along a cheeky little fellow who was a bit legless!

Dee worked on her labour of love a block quilt she started on a course with Sally at Threads and Patches, about 7 years ago.
Do check out Threads and Patches to see what courses they have running its not all Patchwork either.

Sandra dragged her Arthurian legend off its large frame and into 2013 from its permenant home in her living room.

Sam brought a set of quilted but not yet assembled Christmas Stockings, some were even finished on the night! It must be worth a mention the Peaceable kingdom was completed recently that Sam had been working on since University...

There was such a great turnout, I couldn't mention them all but the winner for the evenings best UFO went to Jennifer for her flower sampler that has been unfinished since 1976! YES that's correct - Congratulations to Jennifer who walked away with a lovely bottle of pink bubbly. Our runner up prize of a box of Dairy Milk Tray went to Barbara for her endurance of the Yellow Baby Blanket, which has been to more KNS sessions than some members! The Yellow Baby blanket has been ongoing for 5 years and is running at 160 stitches on one needle. Congratulations to Barbara.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun!
